2009 Partners Match Play
August thru November

Format: Best Ball Match Play. Round Robin in in groups of 4 teams.

Each team is guaranteed 3 matches.


Number of teams in the Round Robin (4 or possibly 5) and play off pairings will be determined by number of entries.

Each team will play at least 3 matches in a Round Robin:
August 4team 1 vs team 2team 3 vs team 4
September 8team 1 vs team 3team 2 vs team 4
October 6team 1 vs team 4team 2 vs team 3

Based on the number of entries, we have the following options:
8 teams Playoff matches on November 4th:
  • Championship match: Winners of each pool match off for 1st & 2nd place
  • Runner Up Match: Runners up in each pool match off 3rd & 4th place
  • Last two groups in each pool match off for bragging rights
16 teams Additional match on October 20th:
Winners of the 4 pools match off to determine who plays in Championship Match above. Losers play in Runners Up Match.

Other teams will be matched up based on their respective standings  for additional payout places.

Entry Fee: $20 per person/$40 per team
Handicaps:
  • Current month handicaps will be used.
  • Players get full handicap allowance.
  • All players will pop off the lowest handicap of the 4-some.
  • No differential limitation.
Dates: Play will be the first Tuesday of the month - August 4th, September 8th, October 6th. November 3rd Play off. Possible additional match October 20th if additional teams.

If a golfer cannot play one of these Tuesdays, the entire 4-some must agree to a reschedule date that must prior to next scheduled match.  Tournament Chairman MUST be notified in advance.

If a golfer fails to show for an assigned match, his partner may play alone or the match is forfeited.
Deadline: Received by July 28th
Field Size: Minimum is 8 teams with 2 pools of 4 teams each, winning team plays off Nov. 3.

Over 8 teams, pool size may change or there will be an additional pool.

Maximum number of entries is 16 teams.

Ties Ties in Round Robin format will be decided by net scores.
Tee Times: Will be assigned by Tournament Committee. (D.Albin, M.Breen,

Prizes Number and amounts determined by field size. Minimum of 8 teams will have 1st -4th paid.
